You can use this setting when you need to present Creatio data as a catalog view. For example, product catalog or service catalog data.
To set up a catalog view message, follow these steps:
In the appeared settings block unroll the [Data source] tab. For convenience, you can expand the settings form into full-screen mode.
Fill in the main parameters:
Object
: Select the data source to generate the button menu. For example, ‘Case’.
<aside> 💡 Note: If you can not find the necessary object, click on the [Actualize the Creatio structure] button and repeat the search.

Name
: Enter the object name that serves as the foundation for the catalog view generation.
Type
: Select the ‘By default’ item.
Without communication
: Activate this option.
Column ID
: The required parameter. Select the field of the object that will be the basis for the data catalog.
<aside> 💡 Note: If you click the [⚙️] button near the field, you can choose columns of the main object or related objects.
You can open the edit mode by clicking the [✏️] button. Then you specify the path to the necessary column.

Photo ID column
: Optional parameter. If your catalog has a photo, you can specify its ID.
Additionally, you can define the filter rules and specify the rules of the sorting object data rows. The Filters creation builder and the Sorting creation builder provides further information about it.
Unroll the ‘Macros’ block on the open page and fill in the following parameters:

to designate the chosen columns in the template.Repeat these actions the necessary number of times.
Specify the text of the message. Use preconfigured macros in the message text. To do this specify {Name}
, where Name
is the macro name from the [8] step.
Add two buttons to the menu.
The first button will be used to browse the catalog to the left. Fill in the general settings for that:

You can arrange the menu buttons into several columns. Use the drag-and-drop feature to reduce the ‘dynamic’ buttons size.
For Viber messenger, you can set the button color or the button menu color.
For Telegram messenger, you can select one of the ‘Delete mode’ items.
