The Files Extended product enables users to preview files, edit them with version management, and download them back to their devices. The primary business objective of this product is to streamline user productivity by consolidating file management across various systems. Additionally, users can access the complete file history, including any modifications made.

The product is accessible in both the Classic and Freedom UI, ensuring compatibility with all versions of Creatio.

Classic UI - General information about Files extended product

To begin using the product, the integration with OneDrive must be configured. Refer to the article for instructions on how to set it up Setting up integration with OneDrive.

If the settings are accurate, the [Attachment and Notes] detail should display buttons for previewing, editing, and uploading on every record within the detail.

<aside> 💡 Note: You can set up prohibition of uploading files with the same name on the Files and links detail using the system setting [Is upload with same name enabled] (TsiIsUploadWithSameNameEnabled). However, it remains possible to download new versions from OneDrive.

Press the button [Download] to download the last version of the document from OneDrive. This button may not be there if the document has not been edited so far.

Press the button [Edit] to open the document in edit mode.

Press the button [Preview] to open the document in preview mode.
