The module "Dynamic characteristics in configuration items" is used by portal and internal users to work with [Configuration Items].
When creating a Configuration Item record, the user must specify a "Category" and "Type". After selection, the record card displays the “Additional parameters” tab, filled with Characteristics in accordance with the selected Category and Type of configuration items. The necessity of characteristics and default values defined in reference books are taken into account.
The module uses the following directories, the values of which are preconfigured and do not require adding new records:
These lookups are used when creating Characteristics, to specify the date format, precision of fractional numbers, reference to the lookup, as well as the length of the string when selecting the appropriate types of Characteristics.
