Add a new [Segmentation] section to the needful workspace.
Go to the [Segmentation] section.
To add a new segment, click the [New] button or open the record of existing segmentation settings to modify it.
Fill in the basic information fields:
Fields:
- Name: segmentation title.
- Object: object that stores data to be segmented.
- Object field: the field of the object in which the current segment will be written.
- Rule type: additional typing of segmentation rules. Accepts values:
- Account update
- Account type definition
- Account segmentation.
- Active: defines if the segmentation is active.
On the [Segmentation rules] detail, add the rules by which the system will determine the value of the segment:
On the segmentation rule settings page, specify:
- Name: name of the rule.
- Resigmentation term: validity of the segment update period under this rule. The value is specified in days, 0 - to be updated at each start.
- Rule priority: rule priority if the record meets the conditions of several rules.
- Object field value: the value that will be set in the object field according to this rule.
Set up a filter that the record must meet to assign a segment according to this rule:
