To create a rule for logging changes in object columns, follow these steps:
Open [System designer] → [System setup] → [Logging settings].

Add a new record.
A new entry will be opened.
Fill in the fields:
Name
: logging settings name. Required to fill.
Object
: the object to be logged. For example, the [Account] object. Required to fill.

Page
: if there is a need for the logging results to appear on only one object edit page, specify the edit page for which the logging should be set up.
If logging has to be configured for all object pages, leave the field blank.

Logging columns set
: the set of columns that will be tracked. Operates within a single logging rule/setting. Bound to [Object].
Create a new set or use an existing one. Use the button +
to add a new set of fields.
The heading (name) of a set of columns is formed according to the template: "[Object name] + [Page name]".
<aside> 📢 Important: The header of a column set is editable only at the time of its creation.

Active
: flag for activating the logging setting.

Go to [Columns] tab.
Specify the fields that should be tracked on [Logging columns] detail.
Click the +
button and select the columns g., select the [Owner] and [Mobile phone] fields for the [Account] object. Save your choice.
Go to [Details] tab.
Click the +
button at [Logging details] The logging detail setting edit page will be opened.
Fill in the fields.
Object
: the object (detail) to be logged. For example, the [Job experience of contact] detail.

Binding column
: the field by which the detail is linked to the main logging object.
This field will be filled in automatically if the detail object contains only one field that refers to the main logging object.
Specify the fields that should be tracked on [Logging columns] detail. Click the +
button and select the columns. Save your choice.
