[General information]. Reflects the main information on the report. List of the fields:
- [Name]: report name, used to identify the report.
- [Caption]: title, will be displayed in the generated report.
- [File name]: name of the generated file (File name.)
- [Owner]: additional field for assigning the person responsible for report.
- [Description]: description of the report.

[Report settings]: contains the main settings of the report: object, columns, filters. Contains basic report settings: basic fields and details.
List of the fields:
- [Report entity]: the object in relation to which the data for the report and filters will be configured (Any object of the system). The list of available entities (objects) will be displayed after clicking on the [Report entity] button. The list of all entities, as well as their creation, can be found in the ‘Advanced settings’. Learn more about entity (object) creation. After filling in the value, additional settings will be available.
- [Start with row]: numeric field, corresponds to the starting position of generating rows in the report.
- [Generate column captions]: flag responsible for displaying in the report:
- title
- filters
- list of columns
- [Max row number]: limiting the number of records that will be included in the report. The value is set according to the [Default maximum number of records for reports] system setting.
- [Format]: a lookup that is responsible for the format of the report, at the moment there are formats:
- [Separator]: the field is available for filling only for the
CSV
and TXT
values specified in the [Format] field. Responsible for the symbol, will separate the values of the columns.
