To create a new report with the FastReport platform, follow these steps:
Type : select the report type:
New report: for creating a new report with a new dataset.
Existing report: for creating a new dataset for the existing report.
Name : enter a custom name for the report or dataset.
<aside> 💡 Note: The report will be displayed with this name on the toolbar.

<aside> 💡 Note: The [Name] field is filled in automatically if an existing report is selected in the [Printable] field. You can set another name if you need to.

Section : select the section from which the report will be formed.
<aside> 💡 For example, to display the report in the [Contacts] section, select the appropriate section from the drop-down list.

<aside> 📢 Attention: The field is editable only when creating a record.
</aside>
<aside> 💡 Note: The [Section] field is displayed if chosen [New report] type.
</aside>
Printable : select an existing report that you want to edit.
<aside> 💡 Note: The [Section] field is displayed if chosen [Existing report] type.
</aside>
As a result, a record will be created in the [FastReport dataset] section.
Fill in the report properties:
Name : custom name for the report. It is required to fill.

</aside>

</aside>
Section : displays the section from which the report will be generated.
