Follow these steps to set up WhatsApp in your Facebook Developer account to use it for chatbot integration:

1. Access Facebook Developer Account

1. Open the Facebook Developer website.

2. Click on the [My Apps] menu.

   

2. Create a New App

1. Click on the [Create App] button.

   

3. App Details

1. In the App details section, fill in the following fields:

   • App name: Enter the name of your app.

   • App contact email: Provide an email linked to the Facebook account used for creating the app.

     

2. Click the [Next] button.

4. Define Use Case

1. In the Use cases section, select the purpose of the app. Since we are setting it up for a chatbot, choose Other.

   

2. Click the [Next] button.

5. Choose App Type

1. In the Business section, select the type of app you want to create:

   • Business: Suitable for apps used to manage and integrate services like WhatsApp chatbots.

   • Customer: For consumer-facing apps.

     

2. Choose Business and click [Next].

6. Review App Details

1. In the Details section, review all the entered information.

2. If everything is correct, click [Create App].
